Explore Romania’s Jewish heritage on a private walking tour in Bucharest. Learn about the impact of Jewish people on the city’s architecture, visit important buildings by Jewish architects, and see the Choral Temple, the Museum of Holocaust, and the Museum of Jewish History.

Start your tour in the heart of the Jewish neighborhood and continue walking its streets. On the way, see several buildings built by important Jewish architects, and learn about the process of degradation throughout the communist times.

Stop for a visit inside the Choral Temple, where you will learn more about its history. Continue towards the Museum of Jewish History and the Museum of Holocaust, both of which you will get to visit and explore. See also the Jewish Theater and pass by one of the best schools in Romania, the Jewish School.

On the way, have a 15-minutes stop to relax.
After learning about the history of Jewish people in Romania, and visiting the museums, take a bus for a few stops to the last point of interest, the Memorial of Holocaust, an impressive construction built in the memory of the victims during WW2.

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees – Cancellation fees may apply to any cancellations by the traveller of a service provided by Get-Locals.com. Unless otherwise specified, the cancellation policy is as follows:

  1. Cancellations for set tours and made more than 24 hours prior to travel receive a full refund.
  2. Cancellations for set tours made 24 hours or less prior to travel require the traveller to pay for the tour in full, and no refund will be issued.

 

   

     Cancellations for custom itineraries (“Create Your Own”) are as follows:

  • 60+ days to departure – Full refund
  • 59 – 31 days to departure – 50% cancellation fee
  • 30 days and under to departure – 100% cancellation fee

In the event of bad weather forecast we will contact you the day before and offer you either a refund or an amended tour for the following day.

We always advice to wear suitable clothing for the day of the tour as not every day is guaranteed sunshine.
