I was visiting Moldova for the first time and wanted to see a lot in a relatively short period of time. Therefore it was very convenient to book guided tours including this one to the Cricova Winery which is one of the essential places to experience. Your guide will take you to a walk around Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. The city stands on seven hills & stretches along the river Bik – the right tributary of the Dniester. After go to Cricova’s cellars – the pearl of our tour, represents a unique undergroud city well-known all over the world by its huge labyrinths & especially by its excellent wines – The National Oenotec. You will be taken into the Cricova wine tunnels by small electric trains.

Fancy Russian Empire time architecture, oriental looking romanian style buildings, huge soviet time constructions and modern urban ”skyscrapers” – will make you do not understand eventually – what is, this Chisinau? Trip was great, the tour organizer managed to get us ticket when everything was already sold out on Cricova website. Driver was very friendly, picked us up from the hotel and helped to find the starting point, after the tour we got dropped off back at the hotel.
