  • NEW: Peles Castle will be closed from November 3rd until December 2nd for general cleaning and preventive conservation
  • The interior of Peleș Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On these days, we will still visit the estate, including the gardens and inner courtyard.
  • Castle entrance fees are not included: 100 RON (approx. €20) for Peles Castle and 90 RON (approx. €17) for Bran Castle.
  • Tickets can be purchased either on-site at the castles’ ticket offices or online. We strongly recommend buying them online to ensure availability and to reduce waiting time at the entrance. Once you book the tour, we will send you a link from where you may purchase the tickets.

Full Itinerary

Discover some of Romania’s most famous castles on a tour from Bucharest. See Peles Castle and Bran Castle, and take some free time to stroll through the Old Town of Brasov.
Following pickup from Bucharest, leave the city for Sinaia where you can see Peles Castle, the former residence of the kings of Romania filled with furniture, ornamental objects, carpets, tapestries, sculptures, paintings and collections of weapons from the 15th to 19th centuries.

Continue to Bran with its famous Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. Learn about the castle’s history and how it had a strategic mission being the border between Transylvania and Wallachia.

Enjoy free time in Brasov and admire the town’s houses built in the Renaissance, Baroque, Provincial and neo-Classic style. Explore the medieval fortress of Brasov, formerly one of Europe’s most secure fortresses. See the preserved old wall, the Black and White Towers and the Weaver’s Bastion.

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

There is no single supplement surcharge for single travellers as this is a private tour. The more travelers in your private group the bigger the discount for the private tour.

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees – Cancellation fees may apply to any cancellations by the traveller of a service provided by Get-Locals.com. Unless otherwise specified, the cancellation policy is as follows:

  1. Cancellations for set tours and made more than 24 hours prior to travel receive a full refund.
  2. Cancellations for set tours made 24 hours or less prior to travel require the traveller to pay for the tour in full, and no refund will be issued.

Cancellations for custom itineraries (“Create Your Own”) are as follows:

  • 60+ days to departure – Full refund
  • 59 – 31 days to departure – 50% cancellation fee
  • 30 days and under to departure – 100% cancellation fee

What happens in the event of bad weather?

In the event of bad weather forecast we will contact you the day before and offer you either a refund or an amended tour for the following day.

We always advice to wear suitable clothing for the day of the tour as not every day is guaranteed sunshine.
