Located in Hunedoara, Corvin Castle is one of the most impressive Gothic castles in Europe and a true gem of Transylvanian architecture. The castle dates back to the 14th century and is famously associated with John Hunyadi, a Hungarian military leader and nobleman.

  • This tour requires moderate walking on a variety of terrains, including paved paths, uneven ground, cobblestones and city hills. Inside the castle, you will encounter steep staircases, some of which lack handrails, as there is no elevator access. Additionally, you should expect to stand for extended periods during the walks.

2. Corvin Castle (Hunyadi Castle):
Located in Hunedoara, Corvin Castle is one of the most impressive Gothic castles in Europe and a true gem of Transylvanian architecture. The castle dates back to the 14th century and is famously associated with John Hunyadi, a Hungarian military leader and nobleman.

o Architecture:the Gothic and Renaissance style of the castle makes it stand out, with its towering fortifications, turrets, and stone walls
o The Legend of Corvin Castle: the castle is surrounded by myths and legends, one of the most famous being the story of the captive princess who was imprisoned in the Tower of the Captives and thrown into the castle’s moat. Her ghost is said to haunt the area.
o The Castle’s Role in History: John Hunyadi, a Hungarian noble and one of the most influential military leaders of the 15th century, is closely associated with the castle. His family used the castle as their residence, and it is often referred to as Hunyadi Castle…

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees – Cancellation fees may apply to any cancellations by the traveller of a service provided by Get-Locals.com. Unless otherwise specified, the cancellation policy is as follows:
