Full Itinerary

Escape the city and discover some of northern Estonia’s most remarkable landscapes on this day trip from Tallinn.

The journey begins with a short coastal hike near Tallinn, where you will uncover hidden remnants of Peter the Great’s Naval Fortress. Wander along forest paths and explore abandoned military structures, including underground tunnels and massive concrete fortifications.

Next, visit Keila Waterfall, the third most powerful in Estonia, nestled within a scenic manor park featuring charming bridges and peaceful walking paths.

Continue through the coastal city of Paldiski, a former closed Soviet military town where echoes of its secretive industrial past still linger in the atmosphere.

From there, witness the dramatic Pakri coastal cliffs, rising high above the Baltic Sea, with the striking red Pakri lighthouse standing sentinel. During summer, you can climb to the top for sweeping panoramic views or take a short walk to the nearby Pakri Waterfall.

The final stop is the famous Rummu submerged quarry, one of Estonia’s most photographed sites. Crystal-clear turquoise waters now surround the remnants of a former limestone quarry and prison complex. Climb the sandy ash hills for breathtaking views or explore the shoreline of this uniquely haunting landscape.

A lunch stop at a local restaurant offers the chance to savor traditional Estonian dishes (at your own expense), rounding out a day filled with history, nature, and unforgettable scenery.
